I am using some WC postards, that are quite light weight paper, and have a texture similar to canvas. I just dropped in some color for this crop of a marketplace still life.

Ribadeo Beach

this is pen (micron .05 and .1) and wash (daniel smith WC sticks- quin gold, quin burnt orange and cobalt)
on 6x6 handmade paper (book purchased at the Paper Umbrella). The ref photo is Ribadeo Beach  by Astur.

Lion Fountain

I loved the photo ref of the lions head fountain in this weekend drawing event, I have not stayed true to color, and was going to just use watersoluble graphite, but discovered my watersoluble OPs so added a bit of color. This is done in a 6x6 handmade paper sketchbook I bought at the Paper Umbrella (one of my favorite stores)

Another Still Life

I painted this in watercolor while watching a webinar on oil paintng, yes I can multitask. The reference was one used for a watermedia challenge last month. I never got around to it till now, it is a bit larger than postcard size- 5x7.
